Through your generous financial and volunteer support, the Western Center on Law and Poverty (WCLP) is able to change lives by effectuating large-scale change in the way in which low-income families receive services and benefits.
Our fundraising events and donations from law firms, individual attorneys, corporations, foundations, and the general public substantially supplement our other funding sources.

Volunteer pro bono attorneys, paralegals, law students, community advocates and friends contribute many hours, expanding our workforce and our reach.

You can help sustain WCLP's mission of providing systemic change in low income communities. Your contributions will enable us to:
  • Support and train legal aid attorneys and other lay advocates to equip them with current information on issues effecting their clients
  • Monitor the activities of county offices and state agencies to ensure they comply with the law
  • Work with legislators to draft effective laws, and we build coalitions to monitor existing laws
  • When necessary, take our cases to the courts, where we litigate class action lawsuits
  • Publish and develop comprehensive guides and resource materials to compliment our efforts

We are grateful for your support!
