WCLP Supports Legislature's Alternative of Extending Cuts to Welfare to Work Funds
Governor Brown is holding up passage of the state budget by demanding deep new permanent cuts to CalWORKs. These cuts are on top of $4.7 billion in cuts since the recession began in 2008. The Governor's demand however is fact challenged. WCLP sets the record straight in the attached response to the Governor.
