Suit filed to stop devastating clinic closures in Sacramento

Western Center, along with co-counsel LSNC, filed suit on June 22nd to prevent the County of Sacramento from closing two of the three indigent health clinics and halving services at the third.  If the cuts are enacted, Patients in need of specialty care will wait over a year for a referral; patients with urgent dental conditions will wait 5 weeks for an appointment; and same day x-rays of broken bones will not be available.  To view the Poole v.
